Point Piper Concept

Client Brief:

The owners of this substantial 1920’s apartment wanted their home updated with the modern conveniences of today’s living. Time-poor, busy professionals with 2 teenage children, they were passionate cooks who entertained heavily thus driving specific needs for their kitchen and entertaining areas. Not lovers of minimalism, they wished for drama, elegance and a touch of whimsy.

Response:

The latest appliances in cooking & refrigeration were incorporated in the re-designed kitchen with easy to maintain surfaces included throughout the home. Contemporary upholstered furniture is balanced with elegant surface finishes, mirrors and lamps. A dramatic and luxurious master suite was designed for precious moments of relaxation: natural stone, dual vanities, double steam shower and a separate make-up area formed part of this sanctuary. The apartment’s soft grey & white palette is lifted with fuscia & chartreuse repeated carefully through the home, and is periodically dramatised with dark-hued wallpaper, silver and glass giving the owners the glamour they seek.
